Can Anyone Sleep?

I am having a lot of trouble sleeping.  To be honest with you I usually dont watch TV and rarely watch the news but lately I am watching news.  So are we all I think.  Is a meltdown going to happen at Fukushima in Japan?  Does this really have to happen?

We are like waiting - watching. 

Like we watched the oil spilling out in the Gulf of Mexico.  The situation got worse and worse before our eyes. 

What can we do, as the people there 30km away from the reactors are being told not to worry and to stay in their homes.  And that this is not going to immediatly affect people's health - I just heard those words on CNN...

Minimize the risk of radiation exposure - cover mouth with a wet cloth, avoid drinking tap and well water.  Avoid eating food grown outside... Well what are people supposed to eat or drink?

1000 bodies have been found 8 k missing in one town, 2722 dead, more than half of towns' populations missing 450 000 in shelters... no time to save the rest...  everyone was being carried away right in front of me... and then they were gone.

2000 confirmed safe... Home washed away... no place to go back to.

Imagine your whole life situation got washed away in a moment.  Everything you ever worked for.  Everything around you.  Gone. 

I know how sometimes it is hard to share on here even when you want to.  When we learn about things I think we need to process them ourselves before we can share. I am very thankful to everyone who shares their thoughts or anything on this site. 

"We need everyone now to evacuate the 20 km radius at the power plant.  Anyone between 20 - 30 km - please stay indoors." Nofuckingway.  We have to monitor the situation closely... she says. with regards to microsieverts levels of toxicity.

We are hoping that nothing happens.  That if you sleep, tomorrow you will wake up and learn that everything is under control.  That the nuclear reactors have shut down.  That ALL the nuclear reactors have been shut down.  So then we would never have to be worried about this happening again.

Some people might be in a position to help physically or financially, but Right now we can all send our energy in the form of love, prayer and good intentions for the people of Japan and for all of humanity.
