Free Solar Community Program

What's the Idea?

PURE Energies will install solar panels on your roof for free, and you will earn money every year from your solar system. No hidden costs, no fine print. You don't have to pay anything for the solar panels or their upkeep. All thanks to the Ontario Government's feed-in tariff Program.

The humble peanut-butter-and-jelly sandwich could save the world! The next time you chow down on a PB&J instead of a hamburger, you’ll save as much as 2.5 pounds of carbon dioxide emissions, 280 gallons of water, and 50 square feet of land. This isn’t a radical concept: In 2006, the United Nations denounced cattle farming as the greatest threat to the climate, forests, and wildlife, accounting for 18 percent of greenhouse gases, which is more than cars, planes, and all other forms of transport put together. There are also health reasons to eat peanut butter—that is, if nuts don’t make you go into anaphylactic shock! One vital question still remains, however: Smooth or chunky?

Try to minimize eating out, this lower food consumption.
Try to eat and buy your food localy... this helps to reduce air pollution.
When eating lunch at work, pack your own lunch and bring your own utensils from home.... no plastic!
If you can.... COMPOSTE!
If you drink coffee... use your coffee grinds for your garden, helps keep those horrible pests away and is an amazing fertilizer for your garden....all natural!

Take meat out of your diet once a week to save on water, yes water!!!! Do you know how much water is used to wash a cut up pig of cow. That cow or pig also had to drink water and eat grains that were watered everyday.

Love this site! Be Green!!!!!!!!!!!
